Balmain Sailing Club is announcing its Cruising Program for 2014 and 2015.

Cruise Venue Tentative Dates

• Lane Cove River Sunday 14th December 2014
• Bantry Bay – Middle Harbour Saturday 7th February 2015 – overnight stay optional
• Lake Macquarie 21st & 22nd February 2015 – Heaven Can Wait Regatta
• Broken Bay or Port Hacking Saturday 21st & 22nd March 2015

All Cruises will be subject to weather forecasts at the time and may be cancelled or postponed at the sole discretion of the Club.

Any postponement or cancellation will be advised by e-mail to the skipper of all registered participating yachts no later than 6:00pm on the Friday prior to the Cruise.

All Cruises will depart from the Balmain Sailing Club at a time to be advised by e-mail to the skipper of all registered participating yachts not later than 6:00pm on the Friday prior to the Cruise

All yachts participating in the Lake Macquarie and or Broken Bay/Port Hacking Cruises will be required to hold the appropriate Safety Certificate and have a VHF radio.  As an additional safety measure, during the offshore sections of these Cruises, all yachts are to stay within 2km of all other participating yachts.
